The short answer
Choose PLA for anything decorative or indoors — it is the cheapest at $0.14 per printed gram and holds the finest detail. Choose PETG at $0.16/g when a part must survive heat, rain or real stress. Choose TPU at $0.22/g when it needs to bend, grip or absorb shock.
Picking a material sounds technical, but the choice usually comes down to one question: where will the part live, and what will it do?
PLA — the everyday default
Easy to print, crisp detail, the widest range of colours, and the most affordable option at $0.14 per printed gram. Perfect for decorative pieces, models, prototypes, toys and anything that stays indoors at room temperature. Its one weakness: it softens in a hot car or direct summer sun.
PETG — the tough all-rounder
Stronger and more heat- and moisture-resistant than PLA, at $0.16 per printed gram. Choose it for functional parts, brackets, outdoor items and anything that takes a bit of stress or lives somewhere warm. A good default when a part actually has a job to do.
TPU — the flexible one
Rubbery and bendable, at $0.22 per printed gram. Ideal for phone cases, gaskets, grips, straps and protective bumpers — anything that needs to flex or absorb shock rather than stay rigid.

What is the difference between PLA and PETG?
PETG tolerates heat, moisture and stress considerably better; PLA is cheaper, prints more crisply and is easier to finish. Indoors, PLA. In a car, on a balcony or under load, PETG.
Which material is strongest?
Of the three we offer, PETG for practical toughness — it bends before it breaks and shrugs off heat. TPU is not stronger so much as flexible, and PLA is rigid but snaps under sharp impact.
Is TPU worth the extra cost?
Only when flexibility is the point. For a phone case, a gasket or a grip it is the only sensible choice of the three; for a rigid bracket it would be the wrong material at a higher price.
Can I mix materials in one order?
