The short answer

There are only so many places to buy filament in Lebanon, and their prices are neither published in one place nor stable. Checking them all by hand takes fifteen minutes and is out of date the following week, which is why almost nobody does it and almost everybody overpays.
What the tracker does
Every morning it visits each Lebanese shop that sells filament, reads the current price and stock status of every spool, and stores it. That gives three things a single shop's website cannot.
- A comparison across all sellers at once, normalised to price per kilogram so a 750 g spool cannot look cheap by accident.
- History — whether today's price is a genuine low or simply the number that has been there all year.

When to buy, not just where
Filament prices in Lebanon move in steps rather than drifting — a shop restocks at a new import rate and the price changes overnight. Two consequences worth acting on. A drop is usually worth taking, because the next move is as likely to be up. And buying two spools of a staple like black PLA when it is cheap is sensible, while buying six is not: filament ages in humidity, and a spool that sat through a summer prints worse than one bought fresh.
